The duo Imaga comes into their own special world.
As they look for their own balance, they create their space in a dwelling entropy, connected by a rope they dance, play and they face their own limits, Drawing on the Symphony of the relationship. Through the timeless in every moment, the bodies in symbiosis atracted and repelled, where pragmatic and ethereal mood touch each other, allowing both the imagination and the emotion, to emerge.
The ambience around them is of intimate nature, both able to touch subtly or to explode into a spectacular moment.
Imaga was fundend in 2012 thanks to Melissa Scioscia and Ingrid Esperanza’s motivation.
The focus of their work is searching for new ways and possibilities in the ancient Circ Technique “Hair Hanging” through the body movement.
Seeking for a personal scenic language, they decided to go deep into their research as a Duo (rigger and hager). The first year working together, they created a short act, 8 minutes long, which has been perfomed between 2012 and 2014 in several festivals and spaces: Festival Deltebre Dansa, Catalunya; Fun Fatale Fesival, Prague; Festival de Circo du Brasil; Mercat de les Flors, Barcelona, among others.
Their research keept on and lead to the creation of a 45 minutes piece, melting their creativity in a symbiosis between hair hanging, movement and scenic poetry,
